suggestion on site
Where I live there is a drainage area we call the Bay Gall. It runs almost all the way through the city splitting it almost in half. Everytime there is a hard rain it looks like the Colorado river. It has a very sandy bottom. What is everyone's opinion on searching this like a beach? Do you think I would be wasting my time?

HMMMMM....I would think that you would end up digging ALOT of trash. I have tried digging a similiar "town run" like the one you mention and pretty much gave up. CANS CANS CANS! LOL! BUT...every site is worth atleast a try!
