Default Just am MD'ing rant

Today I received my cheap Radio Shack Metal Detector that I bought off of Ebay . I was gettin excited to go out and try it. I unpacked the box and to my surprise the person who packed it broke the shaft to fit it in the box . So needless to say I am returning it. I am so ticked off words do not describe it, atleast words I can not use here. I guess I will just save the money up and go ahead and get the Ace 250. /end rant.

Default better off in the long run

.. actually the person who broke the cheap MD, did you a favor in my opinion .. your better off with the ace 250 in the long run and .. buy one from a local dealer or help support treasure Quest XLT and buy from one of the dealers that are members here .

Sorry to hear that. I just received my ACE 250 the other day. I think I got a pretty good deal from Tony. He even gave me a digging tool. His website is somewhere on this forum.

I,m sorry you were disappointed to begin with but it would have just gotten worse if you started to try and use it to detect with. You will be 1000 times better off with the Ace 250 and if I can be of service just let me know. We carry the Ace 250's here at John's Detectors. Ok GodBless and give us a call when your ready.

Smile Ace 250 weakness

The Ace 250 has a very weak lower shaft, from what i have been told. the whites prism is a good machine, tho it don't have the bells and whistle the ace 250 has.
you may also want to look at the Tesoro md machines. i use a Tesoro sidewinder micromax i found in a pawn shop, got it for $55(it sold new for about $300+). it needed a little repair work done on the arm rest.
good luck, and good hunting. *Patrick*

Default my opinion

i own the whites prizm 3. its the one i hunt with all the time wether going to beach(salt water) or going to the playground or fair grounds. it has never let me down. i have heard good things about the ace. lots of folx on here own them and are very pleased with them. i bought mine localy. but you will get just as good service buying from one of our sponsors here. they are always posting so that makes them very easy to get in touch with if you need to. good luck on your choice and happy hunting

Default just to make point

Free2DtectWe must be forgetting the Radio Shack detector is the only machine to ever find a Dahlonega gold coin. So far no other make or model has preformed to those standards. even an inexpensive(cheap) machine can do amazeing things in the hands of a man that knows the machine and can figure out what it is telling him.... and luck plays a lil bit in it 2... but as long as you know what the machine is telling you you can have some great finds.
