Digging in Ozarks
Hi to all. I just discovered metal detecting this Spring, a great hobby and a great way to get exercise. With topo maps, I found a valley not far from where I live that showed 3 vacant structures. Got permission to look and it turns out this region has 5 old cabins and two pioneer cemeteries stretched out over about 3 roadless miles. This is as near to wilderness as it gets where I live, just me and 50 nosey Angus cows. It's gonna take me a couple summers to search out all the sites--what a great place to learn to use my ExpII...and picnic...and hike... I'll try to post the more interesting stuff. Btw, I'd enjoy corresponding with other detectors in the Mo/Ky/Il/Ak region; also anybody who uses the ExpII.

Them sound like some great places for hunting! Nice job on locating some new ground that should keep ya busy for awhile! Can't wait to see or hear of finds!
