Default Ace 250 results........

Well I finally got to practice a little with my new Ace 250. Sweet little machine, I'm really enjoying it. I started out by hitting a school playground for a few hours to try to get the hang of it, and came away with about $5.50 in change. I was worried about pinpointing but I quickly got the hang of it. I'll tell you what I was amazed at how strong it hit on dimes and nickels. Took it back the next day for a little more practice and found about $4.00 more, definetly paying itself off quickly, also found some junk jewelry this time, couple rings and some small charms. Today I hit a couple places around my house and came away with a lot of brass and copper junk and also a 1897 indian and a silver 1942 merc. about 6 inches deep. Couldn't believe how hard it hit that dime. Gotta say that I've been over these areas by the house before but managed to miss this stuff with my other detector. I'm also getting my son interested so maybe I'll have a digging partner for some future hunts. Gotta thank Greg and the group buy's forum for this great opportunity, as I probably wouldn't have been able to buy this otherwise. I'd post some pics but the wife has the camera in her ride and she's at work. Anyhow I'd highly recommend this little gem to anyone just getting started as it's real easy to use and it really packs a lot of bang for the buck. My son isn't having any trouble and he's never touched a detector before. Hopefully I'll be able to get out again shortly and next time I'll post some pics.

Default Gotta love the 250

I agree the 250 is a great little detector. I am having a blast finding stuff with mine. Never used a metal detector before I got the 250 and I was finding things right away. I also would recommend this detector to anyone as an entry level detector.
