Default Decisions, Decisions Decisions

I am toying with the idea of getting a new detector. I like my Ace 250 but it will only do so much. I am trying to decide between the Garrett 2500 or the Minelab Quatro, or do I wait a little while till I can affford the Explorer II. What are the feelings and opinions of everyone? I trust the people here and know I will get good advise.

It is sure getting hot here in GA now. The only detecting you can do is in the morning till around 12:00 or you will be buzzard bait from heat exhaustion.

Thanks

What sort of MD'ing do you do? If you are a relic hunter I would advise checking into the Nautilus DMC IIBA. I had the misfortune of recently huntig with 4 guys that used these machines and they smoked me on the finds! For every one button I dug they got three! I have been using my Fisher 1270 for a long time now and know the machine well.....but man did those Nautilus' sniff out the relics! It will be my next purchase for sure!!!
That's my two cents on the subject!

How heavy is the Nautilis B11A in the field and fromwhat I have read you swing this machine slowly. Is this true?

From what I have observed of others using it, the swing speed is same as as anyother detector I have used. As far as weight it is 4.5 lbs! and that also depends on the size coil. 10 inch coil is standard on the Nautilus. Kellyco detectors has them listed at about $611.
