Went back up to the Benbow mine again yesterday. Made it up to the tipple. It was beautiful when we first got there then a nasty cloud came over the mountain and it started snowing hard. Cold as heck up there. Figured we better get down off the mountain while we still could. One of the pictures is from down on the road, the mountain is behind that nasty looking cloud.
Anyway got to md for about 1/2 hour. Very hard because there are so many nails from the old buildings, chunks of pipe, pieces of tin and about a million shell casings from people shooting up there. I think it still holds promise.
Being as Free came out of the closet I will post a picture of me also
I am sitting on top of the portal into the mine.
If it ever warms up in Montana I will go back. I will keep you posted.
