Default Garrett Ace 250

I was wanting some feedback as to whether or not this is a good buy for a beginner. I have heard good things about it but it never hurts to ask more.

Are there any advantages to this model as opposed to others? Disadvantages?

Are there any other good solid models that a beginner should look into?

I really wanna get going but I gotta buy first :(

Your opinion matters to me!

Default never hurts to do your research

It really matter what you expect from your machine. Coin hunting the Ace 250 seems to be great, but have heard good and bad about it for relic hunting. From Whites you have the Prism II for the same money, its what I use, digging coins is never a problem, relics, I've had great luck with it, I've followed behind men with DFX's, hunted over the same ground as hunters with all types of high dollar machines and still recover items that they missed. Then again I know people with the cheapest machines money could buy and still did great. It just how well you know your machine....HH.....Bill
