i live in cascade iowa , im from the south end of dubuque , ever hear of the Mississippi Band in dubuque , i know who you mean out in durango, i bought my detector from him , a good guy .

if you played in the mississippi band i probably saw you. you've probably hunted out the park there. i've often thought about going there, always looking for places to hunt. that always seems the hardest part, finding good places, preferably untouched ground. i also live in the south end of dbq. always willing to chat about my obsession (which started out as a hobby)

walked the creek fishing almost to oakland farms rd. is twin sisters the place where an old smelting place is ? you can see remnants also just before in creek is a place i call piano rock (big slab of rock atilt in creek) could this be the spot?

When we were kids we would got to catfish creek by way of plymouth court of off grandview , it is 2 big rock towers of sorts , we used to climb them , it was the big challenge for us guys, i think there was a cheese creamery plant up there somewhere's . the big high dollar houses are now in a n addition back there called twin sisters.

that must be up one of the other forks of the catfish. walked the tracks from rockdale to fremont a few yrs back must not have been paying attn. probably went right by.
