Default Rain, Rain, Rain....

...when will it end? I can't take much more of this Indiana weather! It is June right? You wouldn't know it if you lived here...temps in the 70's(too cold for swimming) and this RAIN, seems like everytime I get a day off from work it is still raining, I haven't been out with the detector in over a week!!! I have so many places to go but too wet and cold for me! After I found my 1912 dime at this old church, I'm itching to get back over there!!
Rain, rain go away........

Hey Bobbi, I understand your pain but I'd gladly exchange your "harsh" conditions for the conditions around here in Southern TN! It was in the mid 90's this evening, almost stepped on a snake, removed 5 crawling ticks, wiped several spiders with webs off my face and was out of the woods by 1:00 PM (got there at 7:00 AM).
Hoping YOU can get out soon, enjoy a dig and hopefully find some more Silver! If nothing else, enjoy yourself on your day(s) off , enjoy the beauty that You walk beside and continued Good Luck!

Happy Hunting On Your Next Trip(s), Roger in TN

Ok, I'll take the rain and cold weather over the snakes, bugs and heat! Doing my best to enjoy life in general!!!
Where are you in Tennesse? Have some cousins in Severville(sp) not far from Gatlinburg, just went there last year-Beautiful country!

I presently live about 40 to 45 miles West/Northwest of Shiloh Military Park in a small town called Henderson.....just 25 miles South of Jackson, TN. I usually dig for Civil War Relics but with the HEAT and soaring Gas PRICES, I usually try to stick close to home......Hoping to find the CW Relics around these parts (Jask's Creek Area).

Your Day Will Come Soon, Keep Us Posted On Your Finds,
Happy Hunting, Good Luck, RAW in TN

Up here in Connecticut...it had rained at least 15 of the last 20 days.....and i mean poured. It feels like Seattle! Yesterday was my son's 2nd birthday with 40 people for a cookout...and no rain : ).....today was awesome (75 and bright sun ALL day). My lawn looks great! Anyway, i went out THing today for about an hour and found a pendant with the Virgin of Carmel on it made in Italy.....have to look it up. Happy hunting all!

Default Just an update

Went back to the old church and found....NOTHING, well except the nails, I hate those things! What I need is a teacher to HELP me!!! Sometimes I find things sometimes I don't, I know that happens to everyone, but I'm so inexperinced I'm sure I'm missing alot of good finds. I practice in the yard to learn the beeps and how to eliminate junk, but what I really need is someone to watch me and tell me what I'm doing wrong!! WHat bugs me the most is when I dig a plug and pull out some dirt and then rescane AND there is nothing there OR it moves(seriously)
OH WELL, time to get back out there!!!
Bobbi
