My choice of the 3 would be the DFX. It can be set up as a pretty good relic hunter. If you want a better one for less money , go with the Tesoro Tejon. A straight up great relic detector. Let me know if you need any more help.

Well I made my decision right or wrong. I went with the Nautalus. I know there will be a big learning curve, but the only negative I could really find was the weight and having to judge by sound instead of dials. The price was in the right neighborhood too. Thanks for all the input. Should rrive next week and hope it won't be to hot to do some ojt.

I think you made the right choice! I recently had the opportunity to hunt with some Nautilus users and got to see first hand how great these machines are! I have used a Fisher 1270 for about many years now and it is hailed as a good relic machine but it paled in comparison to the Nautilus' I was up against. I really like the dual audio they have! My next relic machine WILL be a Nautilius!
