Default dang stuck???

well miss john is finding the good stuff. i'm not. but a long story short. i was checking //not her field but the upper field. got a 1800 house foundation an alot of trash. but went bouts 100 east an got a real good singnal from the whites6000 done dug an dug /hot out// so after bouts
a foot that was it. it read as penny/dime /quarter on the whites. didnt evan move much.
well today had to burry a kitten. so when i was up there or when i got done. tractor and cart. there was the ole piece of bounty huner. i went over the same hole as the whites 6000. and it read dime and quarter. did not jump at all. well i had a shovel, cuase of the kitten so i dug. i'm at 1.5 foot x 2 foot and havent found it yet. but its locking on. now i dont think a 3300 bounty hunter with a 8" coil should read this. but maybe a canteen.????? gonna do some deep diggin tomorrow.

lol i'm not that crazy. i whent thru a foot in a half of stones the size off your fist. some bigger. when i got all the stones out. it locks on dime with both machines and didnt move at all when i changed angles. well it was a chunk of ?rusted iron maybe 4" x 6 or 7". my meter usally jumps around on something like that. but not this time. locked on hard. i reburried it to check it again when i get a new detector. i"ll try an put a pic up.

I'd bet it had some chrome content. My detector (whites classic ID) reads 25c on chrome pieces.

I usually find if I get a really strong signal it is usually trash, something big mind you, but garbage (like a beer can), the lighter signals are usually coins.

Might as well dig it though, then you can move on to the next signal...

I always view a beep as a present. I just have to unwrap it. Sometimes Santa sends me a lump of coal... Which pressed hard enough could turn into a diamond.

That reminds me.

I got a really strong signal next to a creek in my woods behind my house.

I dug down about a foot, but it was very rocky and hard to dig. I finally gave up on the hole, even though I was still getting a strong signal.

That was about a year ago...

I still think about what it was. I will go back and dig up that ? someday, I just keep thinking about it...

Default Let The Good Snakes Go!!

That was a harmless and helpful snake! I almost stepped on one about a week ago! I stopped and let it move on out of the way.....when I saw the pointed tail I knew it was a good snake (thinking it was a chicken snake).
I'm unaware of the LAWS in VA but I wouldn't post anymore snake tales in that state if I were YOU! Here in TN, it's against the LAW to KILL ANY SNAKE!

Never Know Who's Looking In,
Just Thought I'd Let You Know In Advance! Roger

My father in law says "the only good snake is a dead snake".

Just Sunday my daughter almost stepped on a snake, it was next to our barn, built in 1870. She had on flip flops.

I had just called her to come back to me. Luckily she obeys well as she stopped and was about to turn around to come back when she saw it, preparing to strike her only one step away...
