Default BH Discovery 3300 still on sale

I called the local radio shack this morning and they are still on sale for $112. They dont have any in stock but will order them with free shipping.
Only the corporate stores have them on sale. The franchise stores will not sell them or order them at the sale price. [in this area anyway]
I have had mine for about 10 days and have been finding quite a few coins in areas that have been hunted in previous years. It is an exceptional detector for $112 ,in my opinion. Good hunting, Merf

I picked one up three weeks ago as ANOTHER backup. I gues you would call that a backup for the backup??? I have been using that in places where I don't really want to take out my expensive one.

The phone number is 815-758-6629.
The address is 2690 Dekalb ave., Sycamore , Il 60178
When I was looking for one I also called the Radio Shack in Sterling ,Il and they said they could order one. Hope this helps.

Glad you found one, Warsawdaddy.
One thing I found on mine is that the round nut on the bolt that holds the coil on will tend to unscrew and come off. I put a couple of wraps of teflon tape around the end of the bolt and then screwed the nut on. The nut stays in place now without overtightening it.
Good hunting , Merf
