I would go to the nearest play ground that had some gravel or wood chips around the swings and toys and start learning my detector. Easy to dig everything and you figure out what the machine is trying to tell you without a lot of hard digging. Then I would research the area close to me for old mine sites, ghost towns, mine camps, anywhere people were many years ago and off the beaten path that maybe has never been detected before

Hi
I am from Bozeman,but I spent alot of time is west yellowstone. We own a building that is national reg,with 5 100 year old cabins behind it,,,We use it as a warehouse,but it is the first cat house in west....I wish I could pull up the floor ![]()
