I'm and admin on another message board that uses this same software (vBulletin). anyway, the reputation level can be used to "help" indicate whether or not a poster is generally helpful with the information he/she posts.

the default settings have fairly large gaps between the reputation levels, but can be modified easily enough to suit the size of the community.

on that board, we are leaning towards just letting the mods use it to flag troublemakers :) But it's a board with ovor 17000 members....

I don't see any troublemakers here :)

Why would you care what they thought about you over on Treasurenet.? I looked at that site also and read alot of your posts. I have been detecting close to thirty years and wanted to check out other forums. No offense but looks like you kind of got a big head over that gold coin of yours. And you kept changing your story after it was posted.I see you still are over there every day posting. Why do you keep going back if you hate it there so much?
This forum seems to be very knowledgable and has alot to offer. Which is why I joined this one and not others.I like the fact that it is small and more family like. I am on the road alot and try to stop in and visit different clubs. Am heading to Washington State soon and then up into Alaska . Any forum members in Alaska?

This is what I mean ,Why do you just go to Treasurenet to stir up trouble. Now you are bragging because you want to be known for the most views on a personal rant?
I dont understand how you could be made a moderator with these types of ethics and standards. So you are Pete, Netzel,Free to Detect and Zumbro Kid ....who else are you imitating?
I guess I thought this was a great forum...based on the owners attitudes, but this isnt what I expected.

Lets not carry this issue from T-Net to TQ.

Thanks,
