Default About Metal detectors.

I want to buy a metal detector but I don't know which is the best. I found a lot of informations about that on http://www.METAL-DETECTOR-REVIEW.COM and I want to know more about which model is ideal for treasure hunting. Any recommendations would be appreciated, make and model, etc)

Hmmmm, treasure hunting. Treasure is in the eye of the beholder.
I don't know that much about MD's but there are a few people that can answer that if they knew what you like to look for.
Like silver, gold, relics. Civil war etc and where are you going to be hunting. fresh water, salt water, mountains, low lands.
There are to many variables to really answer the question. but so far as I can figure it out, the Minelab seems to work the best [ certain models]. I know I aint been a lot of help. But you will get responses if they know your objectives When you do get a MD , Good Luck & HH

Default Hmm.

I would advise you to figure out what your budget is first. I would also advise you to have some money left over for a nice set of headphones and a tool to dig with and a handheld pinpointer. I started with a very cheap detector that didn't have a built in pinpointer and without good tool to dig with. One thing to think about is where you will be detecting most low end detectors are almost usless around salt water or wet sand.
