Clean coins that are crusted and have a green patina on them. I found a coin but it is so bad I can not tell if it is a penny or a dime. I am sure somewhere this question has probably been answered but can't find it. Thanks in advance. JoAnne

One way is to soak it in Olive oil, but that may take a long time. Another way is to soak it in WHITE vinegar or orange juice. U will just have to try each method for yourself. If you think it is a valuable coin I suggest Olive Oil. You should get other suggestions before long. Hope this helps.
