Default Roanoke, VA

Any one know of some places to hunt around roanoke. Maybe old swimming holes or beach's or any where. I am going to visit some friends there this weekend and would appreciate any info.

Default Up the road a piece

I can't help you in the Roanoke area,but if you want to drive up to Wythe.Co.(about hour and half drive) there are several places. Let me know if have the extra time to go there,I might even go with you,if it's not still raining. ............... papa

Papa, I won't be able to make it to Wythe Co this weekend, but I might try and come up and hunt with you some time. It is about 3-4 hr drive from here.
Find us a good spot to hunt and when the weather cools and the sliders go in for the winter, I will come up for a couple days and hunt with ya.

Default Long drive

I know what you mean about driving.After several hours on the road,all you want to do is sit still for awhile.
Just let me know when you are able to come,glad to help out.What do you MD for ? CW,coins,or all of the above?

Pretty much all the above, but clad doesn't excite me a whole lot. Older coins and CW relics I find very interesting. I'll get up that way sometime, I'll let you know
