MD Clubs

Does anyone know how you go about forming a metal detecting club? Is there like a national affiliate that you can join and become a part of? Are there things to limit the membership to (like only MD or do you include prospecting and treasure hunting?) How formal does it have to be. Do you need agendas, minutes and dues or is it as simple as meeting for coffee and then hunting together? I want to see if there is any interest in my area but have no clue how to go about it. JoAnne. Go to FMDAC.ORG. This is the national association and can show you if there are any local clubs in your area. If you need help starting a club contact me by phone and we can discuss it.
