After two weeks of calling every one in public office,I finally found out that the Game Warden has control of "State Owned Land" And I am still waiting for him to call me back. I think I'm going to make a log of who I have called and when.Then just go If someone says anything,I'll just show them the log and say "Who did you talk to,and can I have his number" The sad thing is,there are several "virgin" sites there that I'm just itching to get to.

On the research I have been doing as of a 2001 survey done the state of West Virgina Parks Department does not allow any Metal Detecting so I would be safe to say the the Game & Fish are the same
