Default I decided to bite the big cookie and go for it.

Last Friday I was headed to CT for a family wedding. On my way I stopped to see Tony at TC Metal Detectors. I had in mind that I was going to trade in my BH Tracker IV for an ACE 250. However, if Tony did not give me much for the BH I would keep it. Well as it turns out Tony gave me an excellent deal plus I decided that I was worth it so I bought the Whites Prizm V. I also got a vibra probe. I love the prizm but since I thought that metal detecting during the reception (it was at a park) might be a tad unacceptable, I have not had a chance to play with it yet. I am itching to try it. However it rained all day yesterday and I had to drive home (5 hr. drive) and it is pouring today. I did watch the DVD and read the manual. Any tips for the Prizm V? Also want to say thanks again Tony.

Default dave in iowa

i have a prism 5 . used it now for about 5 months , i discriminate out nails all the time and somtimes if there's a lot of junky noise, i
, discriminate every thing , sensitivity , i use the factory setting most the time , i've found 47 silver dimes 6 silver quarters and 3 silver halfs , and a lot of other neat stuff. It doesnt seem to go real deep 5 to 6 inches it seems most the time . its a killer for pennys and quarters , if it jumps between a penny and a quarter its usually a dime . good luck , if you find anything new about the machine let me know ,, good hunting to all

Thanks Dave for the info on the Prizm V. I am hoping to go out tonight and cover some ares that I have already been to to see if I can find anything else. However it gets dark here so early now that not sure how much time I will have after work. Please keep me posted if you find out any additional helpful information and I will do the same. Thanks again. JoAnne

Tony - you ever thought of trying out Whitcomb (I think that is how you spell it) Park in Manchester? My sister says they have tons of wedding and company picnics there. Quite a large park. Not far from your house. Not sure what the feeling is on mding there but if I lived closer I sure would check it out. JoAnne
