I would like to make it to NH sometime, I've never been to a northern race, but I have heard NH is a good one to go to .
Try Richmond, it is a good one to be at. Camping is tricky, but a good race. Forget Talladega, to big and not very family friendly. Darlingtoin is a good one also to go to, one of my favorites. We don't go to the big tracks any more, I reckon I am just getting to old for the big time parties.

Happy racin & HH

I prefer the smaller tracks. I went to Watkins Glen once but did not like that type of racing. You only got to see what was directly in front of you. My sister goes to Bristol and she loves it but like I said before the tickets are very hard to come by. Not sure which if any I will pick up to replace PA. Kind of waiting for everyone else in the family to decide. I am a new NASCAR fan. Only been interested in the last say 5 or 6 years. My sister got me started. After my divorce no one to vacation with and she said come to a race with us. Been going ever since. I love it. I think it is more about family than the actual race. I never realized how many people are race fans. Usually I can find someone to talk racing with in any crowd. Looking forward to retiring and moving south closer to the racing capital of the world.

Come on down to Nascar country, there couldn't be a whole lot of y'all left up there.
I would recomend Darlinton #1 & Richmond #2, just get there early enough to find a good camping spot[usually wed or thur, Richmond is a little tough, forget the speedway camp, crowded and far from the track but they have shuttles. Find a house near the track and camp in their yard.

Unless you are on one of those NY or CA courses, I really don't care for the road courses.
Most people don't even care for racing unless they have a driver to pull for.

Wow Boobie, thats pretty cool, sitting behind all that HP must have been somthing else. I'm surprised you never made it to a NASCAR race, especially back whem Petty, Lorenzen, McQuaig, Fireball, Johnson and the rest were racing. I was at Charlotte on the infield on turn 1 when Fireball Roberts crashed right in front of us and burnt so bad. He died from Pnumonia from the burns from that race.

BBQ do you follow Busch at all? They are going to have a Busch race in Montreal next year. That is less than an hour from me and I am thinking I might like to go and check it out. The problem is it is the same weekend as another major race so they are thinking that the top names may not race. Will wait til it gets a little closer before I make my decision. How do you feel about the Nextel drivers driving in the Busch series?
