Not a great hunting day
Today I went out to another local park and came out with only 4 pennies. The grounds were soaked due to all the rain we had here the past many days. I had a hard time keeping the mud from sticking to my digging spade. I cannot wait for my EZ-Digger to come in the mail. I hear it works really well, time will tell. My wife was in conversation with my dad the other day and received information that the local city park (not the one I hunted today) was once grounds to a cypress mill during the turn of the 20th century... once it was torn down the land was given to the city to build a park, which it stands to this day. My daughter and I went out during the night hours a few days ago and I found 2 quarters and 9 pennies, however my detector was going off like crazy... I will enjoy the park grounds in the coming weeks/months. It has been location to many street fairs over the past decades. There is treasure there and I am planning on finding some! Still need to get used to all the sounds of the ACE 250. Have any of you who own the ACE 250 purchased the 9 x 12" search coil? Does it search significantly deeper? I would love to hear more stories dealing with the ACE 250 model!
