Boobie has me going in circles

So I got a couple of hours to get out today so I thought I would try Boobie's technique of searching in circles. I picked a spot in a junior high school soccer field about 20 feet by 20 feet. I started in the middle and started walking in circles while swinging the coil in circles. This is very ackward and hard to get used to for me. After finding a target I still had to swing from side to side to pinpoint. Don't know if I am doing the technique correctly or not but here are my findings.
2 quarters
9 dimes
12 pennies (one wheatie)
1 half inch washer
Cheap pendant saying "Upward Bound Award 2004"
Gob of pull tabs, can slaw and misc. junk.

Again, don't know if I am doing this right so i am waiting for movie to come out. You still thinking about a quick movie showing the technique Boobie?

Would I have found the articles using the standard method? Hard to say. Honestly the finds seem to be about normal for the area if I do a slow grid in a couple of directions. The jury is still out on the method, but again don't know if I am doing exactly right. I am certainly going to give it a couple more tries.

I also tried the circle motion with no luck. I guess I am doing it wrong also.
