Where to search?
Hi i have been given permission to dig in my mates field (In the UK) which use to be on the out skirts of a Roman castle. Can anyone reccomend where abouts to search in the field e.g perimeter, middle. Please help. Thanks

Brad, hit the high ground on the property.
I am suggesting this due to Civil War sites I hunt the solders wanted to be on the highest ground so they could have the best visibility of their surroundings.
Might be different with your scenario but give the high grounds a try first.
