Yep, everywhere I go I am looking for new places to hunt. I have gotten into the geocaching thing too. If you are familiar with this you know that you find all kind of interesting places to metal detect while hunting for caches. The two hobbies seem to go hand in hand for me.

Yes smartfox, find myself doing that all the time now. Whenever I go any where I'm always looking for abandoned homes, or see a really old home that I would love to knock on the homeowners door, to ask permission. I guess we all do that, just part of this great hobby.

One habit that has come from this hobby is, I'm alway looking at the ground. I mean when I go out without my MD say walking the dog or going from parking lot to store, I'm away scannig the ground. Have find lots of thing that way.

No matter where I go I'm always on the lookout for new sites. Especially when I am in the country, I'm looking for old abandoned farms and foundations. I think that every serious hunter is forever looking for new and different places to explore.
