A New Addition To The Family

No it's not another child. Been there done that. Have a beautiful wife and 2 young boys aged 6 and 4. Going to finally get a dog today. My wife has 3 cats and they are cool and everything but not like a dog. I only had a dog once in my life and that was about 20 years ago. I really loved that dog. He was my best friend and his name was Lobito. This dog is a purebread Black Lab and the family that we are getting it from is giving it away free. My family and I can't wait. If everything goes as planned we should have it home today. Wish me luck. When I figure out how to post pics I will send a pic of the dog to everyone.

My wife and I adopt from the local Human Society, we have two indoor cats and a Black Lab, he is not purebred but the only way you can tell is he has a purple tongue (mixed Chow).

Be careful if it is a pup you are getting, Labs are famous for chewing everything in sight. When he was younger he chewed up all of my mushroom lights around the house, wires on my boat trailer and even a PDA that was delivered and left on the back porch.

He has calmed down; he is four years old now and is a very good dog.

WE just got a new puppy also, a boston terrier- and her name is Madie....aka my lil carpet stainer! Our first boston died in October we had him for 13 years. Just wasn't the same around here without a dog, so we had to get another one.
