and no luck. I did way better in the little park than I did the big one. The big one is Pompano beach park aright next to that little airport. I think the reason I did bad is because it is a very big park that people go to and I think it must have been detected by others. I was there for about 1 hour and got a total of .15 cents. There was a section that they were rebuilding and the dirt was a bit rough and I tried my luck and only found 1 cent. It was very dirty and full of beer cakns and stuff like that

If a lot of the trash is above ground, bring a rake... you can knock out a lot of the burden of trash signals if you can rake it away first. However if the trash is buried, you will have to make the best of it... I was hunting a park in New Orleans a few weeks ago that was totally trashed with the older type of pulltabs. I recall reading past posts (I think from Boobie) that a smaller search coil will do well with trashy areas. I know that Garrett makes some sniper coils - I think they are 4-1/2" in diameter.
