Default Baseball Fields Clay Area?

Does anyone usually have luck at those areas? There are a couple of baseball fields and wanted to know if it was worth it? thanks in advance.

Default Ball Fields

I find that around the dugouts and homeplate to be the most rewarding.

Our city park has two baseball fields... I kinda figured that I would not find much there, so I have been avoiding them while metal detecting the park. I will try to hit the dugouts and homeplate first when I go back to the park... if it seems to turn up well, I will continue the rest of the fields. Thanks for this thread, now I have a new place to check out!

Try looking between homeplate and the pitcher mound, then try the lines between say right field and work toward the bases, the idea being if someone is throwing a ball it's posible that they could also lose a ring.

Default cool thanks

and it should not be too hard to dig. it's not like stuff is going in 1 foot deep. everything should be close to the surface.
