Default might detect in a bad part of town

There is a bad part of toen where I work that think it might be worth detecting. I might give it a try before work. It's a park right next to my school and the kids playground is all sand . I asked the coach that I work with when the park was built and he said the eighties so there should be something interesting there. THE GOOD IS THAT I DO NOT THINK THE AREA HAS BEEN DETECTED. THE PEOPLE AROUND THERE DO NOT THINK DO DETECTING SO THE POSIBILITIES ARE GOOD. THE BAD IS THAT IT IS A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD. WHEN I GO I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE SOME PEPPERSPRAY AND MAYBE A GOOD BLADE JUST IN CASE I GET ATTACKED OR SOMETHING. WISH ME LUCK

My primary machine I use is the Fisher CZ-3D, unless I am in a questionable area. Then I pull out the Bounty Hunter. If something were to happen, I am not out anywhere near as much. Also, if you were to be in a bad or questionable area, it may be a good idea to go with a group. Not sure I would want to go it alone. If anything, have a second person with you keeping an eye out. If things aren't looking good, hit the road sooner ranther than later. Good luck and be careful.

Default Hunt in the early morning

We always hunt in bad spots in the early hours the roughs are sleeping and we just hunt fast and get out and come back another day and hunt what we missed so far so good...good luck we have found some real goodies that way....a old hand at it.....Jack

The idea of taking a buddy is a very good suggestion. I know when I am going to a rough area I always go with at least one other person. If possible I try to have three others with me.
Taking a gun with you could lead to serious problems even if someone else starts the trouble.
I use a Lesche digger and it isn't as offensive to the police as a large knife would be. It could be quite a defensive weapon.
Better yet try to stay away from that kind of area if possible.
Of course this is just my humble opinion.

Default Thanks Guys

Treasure Hunter You Are 100% On The Money. I Think It Would Be Wise To Go Early In The Morning With A Buddy Or 2. The Roughs Are Sleeping At That Time Or Arrested For Something They Did The Night Before. Also They Are Probably Overdosed With Some Drug Or Had Too Much Alcohol To Drink. These Are Some Real Good Tips. Thanks I Will Plan This Carefully For Next Year Around Jan Or Feb. In The Meantime Around My Area It Is A Good Neighborhood And There Is A Lot Of Area Left For Me To Search.

If it was me i'd just bring along Big bart (st.bernard)so he could slobber all over em ! Also if the school was built in the 80's,might not be worth the trouble for a handfull of clad. But there could have ben somthing there before the school,do some research ! Good luck, walk tall and carry a big stick !
