Hello
Hello all. I'm new to metal detecting, and wanted to introduce myself.
Santa brought a toy metal detector for my 8 year old this year, we enjoyed it so much Santa made another trip last week and brought me a beginners metal detector as well (Bounty Hunter Quick Silver). My boy found a gold diamond charm (costume jewlery) yesterday... now we're both hooked. Fun stuff... just wanted to say howdie and thank you for the forums/information to help us get started.

Welcome to the TQ family!!!!!! This hobby is highly addictive. It looks like you may have just found that out for yourself!
 It is great to hear that your boy has taken an interest in the hobby. My son too comes out with me everytime I go, he just loves it. Welcome aboard
