Not A Bad Day Yesterday. Could Of Been Better

I took my 2 sons to Miami Beach and detected a park next to the bay yesterday. There I found about 80 cents mostly which were dimes for some reason. Then I went to that sit-up spot that I once found $8.52 I think it was and while the kids were climbing around the equipment and found some more coins. The thing is that there are some rocks as well that surround the park that lead to the water and my smallest one kept trying to go climb them so I had to firmly tell him no but about 20 minutes later I told both of them to go ahead and climb the rocks so I really supervised them cause one false move and it could be history. After 5 minutes of rock climbing and them having a good adventure we went back to the spot but 10 minutes later my son got a decent splinter on his finger and the hunt was over. TOTAL FOR YESTERDAY WAS $3.74 THERE IS STILL A LOT OF POTENTIAL THERE. I forgot to mention that in the foresty section about 30 feet from the spot there was like a colony of homeless people and eventhough it was daylight sometimes it gets a bit lonely and with the 2 kids I was looking around cause I felt like someone was going to jack me. Also if one of those homeless people saw me they must have envied me cause I was picking them up fast. **** I WANT TO GO BACK THERE BUT IT IS SO FAR BUT SOUTH BEACH ALWAYS PROVIDES SOME DECENT FINDS. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE BEACH WAS PACKED! OH I WAS PREPARED I HAD MY MACE ON ME .

Yes becareful, I prefer less busy spots. Nothing worse than trying to enjoy yourself and having to worry about other things.

I have not tried beach yet myself.

has always been in a pretty good part of town but lately there is like a cult of homeless people living in the forest section. Next time I will go by myself again and with my mace of course.
