Default A suggestion

I think I may have posted this before on here but I am not sure if I did or not. If it is a repeat post I am sorry.
My suggestion is this.
I used my printer and made up business cards.
On the cards I have my complete name and address along with my contact numbers.
In the middle It says
"If u lost something I will try and find it for you"

When I ask for permission to get into a site I hand it to them. It has often gotten me into places where others have been denied.

Over the years beause of the card, I have had folks call me to help find articles that they or someone else had lost.

For whatever reason it tells people that you are not just someone who will dig up their property and leave a mess, and they can get in touch with you later if need be.
I have my card at some of the local police stations in case they ever need my assistance. It never hurts to let the local law enforcement officers know of your existence and hobby.
Some day they may just call and ask for your help.
I also gave it to the local water & gas company, in case they can't locate a shutoff valve at a particular home owners site.
Of course this is just my humble opinion and what I do to improve my relationship with the community.
Thank you for reading this post.

Been considering this for a long time; just never done it. I like the phrase about helping folks find what they have lost. That and an address with phone number adds credibility.

Maybe some of you folks who care to could show a pic of your business card; would be fun to see the different ideas there are.

That's a good idea Dick from IA. I didn't think of it.
Here is what I have.
I am sorry for 2 things.
One is that my scanner is not working up to snuff.
Two is that I am a bit uncomfortable in putting my home address and phone numbers out on the world wide web.
But if anyone ever wants that information I will be happy to email it.

Good idea not to show your address and phone numbers, but it's great to see your card, Boobie.

Thanks. I like it. Hopefully some more will share theirs.
