Default Newbie - Hunt in Bristish Virgin Islands

Hello everyone,
I just ordered my first detector – a Whites Surf PI Pro.
I'm going to be sailing in the British Virgin Islands in May. Has any one had any experience down there on the beach, surf, snorkling and shallow scuba.

I will be staying away from the resorts/crowded beaches and focusing on secluded coves and beaches of the many islands. I also plan to hike over some of the topography to the south shores of the islands to where todays tourist never go or see. I'd like to see if I can deduce where I'd have secured a lookout camp if I might have been ordered to watch for some English or French ships.

Bruce

Default you should have some decent finds

I do not think too many people around the world other than usa do too much detecting. I might be wrong. I can's wait to go to Peru where my family is from to detect over there
