I've Struck GOLD!!!
Not by metal detecting - It was the January contest prize that I won on Pappy's Place!
I was the January contest winner and today I did receive the contest prize, which was a vial containing 5/8 Dram of 24K, 100% 1000 Fine gold leaf! Boy, was I suprised! Pappy is one great fellow. If any of you newbies to Treasure Quest are not aware, if you have an unidentified item, you can post it in the "Ask Pappy" Forum and he can tell you exactly what it is! Pappy also has his own web-based store, Ole' Pappy's Place. It is one of Treasure Quest's sponsors. He sells a lot of collectables and unique items. Each month Pappy holds a contest to all who are registered at his website (which is free to register). Once you are registered you are then eligible to participate in his contest.
