Default latest find

I recently found these items in an old abandoned house all in one cigar box.
Has anyone ever seen a pipe or lighter like this one? The lighter was made in Mexico and is sterling silver. What would a value be on something like this.?

Thumbs up Latest Find

Saw a old pipe with a top like that my uncle sent back from Germany after the war. So maybe it is a European thing but don't know about it's value..

Default Pipe

Not sure about the lighter but the pipe top was an accessory that could hve been on the pipe from the maker or it could have been added later. The purpose was so the tobacco would not blow out in the wind. It appears in the photo that the center of the top was a tamp for the tobacco. This is customary. I had one of these about forty years ago when I was smoking a pipe. I looks like a nice find and show piece to me. Congrats!
