Default MXT - What second coil to have?

Iam trying to decide which coil to have in addition to the 950.

I live in an area that has relatively high soil mineralization, between 75 and 85 from what I can tell. I intend to hunt primarily in areas that have a high probability of trash.

I have just received the Eclipse DD1400 8x14 coil. I am not certain that I made the right decision here. This thing is huge, and from what I have read, the larger the coil, the less accurate and reliable it is. Also, the less able it is to seperate out or isolate individual targets.

I have also been consideriing the DD 6x10, 4x6 DD and the 5.3 concentric, but I can only have one for now.

So, which is my best choice given my soil and hunting conditions?

The 8x14 DD?
The 6x10 DD?
The 4x6 DD?
The 5.3 concentric?

Thanks!

Default Interesting

Thanks Chuck and Boobie,

I am not surprised by your answers regarding the 6x10 DD. I really should have asked this question earlier, huh?

Have a great day!

I have a 4x6DD and love it for the very trashy areas, but I will be getting a 6x10DD as soon as I can get the money in hand.
