Head phones

I am looking to get high end headphones. I have looked on line and I need advise. Black widow,........ looking to get a limiter set so I don't lose my hearing from close finds. Please any advice would be a great help.

Most detectors have enough built in volume that enhanced volume headphones aren't needed and the Black Widows are advertised as a high volume headphones. I have very bad hearing and used a number of headphones and the Gray Ghost Ultimates have produced excellent tones for me and can be used on any detector. Just like everything else there are so many to choose from but i can say for sure the Gray Ghost headphones have been very durable and a pleasure to use. HH Bill

radio shack has a pair for around $20 bucks, ask for the pair that has volume control on each side of the phones....they work great!!!!

The Black Widows are excellent but drown out most outside noise. I would only consider them for use in areas where I was hunting with others that I knew. Thr Ulitmates are a less quiet version. Also look at the Killer B Hornets. I switched to these and love them since I have a slight tone deafness . They pick up the sound much better for me. If you need more help please let me know and I will be glad to be there for you.
