Default Upstate New York

Any of you folks up there in New York want to discuss global warming?

8 feet of snow is what my paper says you guys got.
That is unreal. Hope all of you are safe.

I live in lower NY, and I have to say the winter here was RIDICULOUSLY warm up until about two weeks ago. At Christmas we were running around in T-shirts. There was a day that reached 70 degrees (the two prior days had hit the high 60's) where I wore shorts. January was extremely mild, and T-shirts could be worn all the way up until about two weeks ago... which is when things got bananas.

Two weeks ago the cold weather hit like a ton of bricks, and I think the fact that we were never 'eased' into the cold made it even more brutal. Everyone locked their doors at that point, and I'm sure the snow isn't far behind.

But global warming? Hell yeah. This year winter didn't start until February.

I used to hike out in the woods, build a shelter out of pineboughs and spend a couple of days !
