Default Frustrated with my new ACE 250

I just bought a brand new ACE 250 about two weeks ago, and I have been really itching to get out and use it. I finally got out this weekend for a couple of hours and I have a couple of things to say about the Ace 250. I am very frustrated with it because I have read many post regarding how good this machine is and when I started swinging the coil I started getting many great hits. What frustrates me is that the frost line here in about 12 inches deep and I couldn't chip through the frozen ground to get to anything. I ended up trying to learn my new "250" on a pea gravel playground where I didn't have to use a pick axe. I hunted about 2 hours and I dug about 25 coins and best of all I dug no trash. I love to 250!!! For anyone that is thinking of getting one I highly recommend it! I am so impressed with it that I am very frustrated about the weather situation here and I have really been bitten bad by the MD bug. Just to set the record straight...I love to ACE 250, and can't wait to get it out in good weather.

When I read your title to this thread "frustrated with my new ace 250" I was thinking IMPOSSIBLE....who could be frustrated with the ace???, then I read more and undertood . I know the feeling of not being able to dig right now, its driving many of us TQ memebers crazy . Smart thinking of digging in the pea gravel and good job in finding some coins( WITH NO TRASH ) Just keeping thinking spring and it will soon come, until then keep reading and posting on TQ.

Default You scared me

I ordered mine last monday and I just saw that it's been delivered by UPS and is sitting on my front door step as we speak. I am so exited to begin using it, as it is my first MD.

At first I thought you were having issues with the 250. You're such a kidder.

Hey Jarhead, I was thinking, "Uh Oh, someone needs encouragement".

Guess you fooled us; glad to hear you love the Ace and we're all looking forward to some great reports once the ground thaws
