Yesterday marked the 109th anniversary of an event that caused a war to unfold between Spain and the United States.
Some of you already know that I am developing a blog here on TQ that addresses the Spanish-American War in Puerto Rico, where I currently live.
Today, I have begun working to expand my blog to include some information of the events that happened in Cuba. This information will begin to appear later this month.
In order to do something a little different than you can see on the internet, I am working with texts written in Spanish and translating them to English to present an account from the official reports from the Spanish side.
I invite you to visit my blog over the next few weeks and hope you will take a look at this war from a slightly different point of view.
