Hi Dug,
I'm glad you stopped by  Them Rings you found probably more than paid for your detector. Keep digging up that good stuff and stop back often.

Welcome aboard 1960vw. Don't forget to post your finds. Like Dugday I too have the XLT and it is only my second detector. My first was an old analog machine from Radio Shack. Right now I don't see the need to get any fancier. The XLT does the trick for me. Of course I haven't beach combed with it yet or did any gold hunting, but for coin shooting and regular ole treasure hunting, it fills the bill. Good Hunting!!!!
