old houses
I work for a power co. Was just put on a service truck covering three counties. I started paying attention to all the old houses that I pass during the day running from job to job. There are a amazing lot of old empty houses around. Plan to start writing down the address on these houses. Now knowing how linemen are if you were to catch up with a serviceman and ask if he knew where there were some of the houses were he/ she might just be able to tell you about a place that you didn't think of. The guys I work with have told me about several places that I either fergot about or didn't know of. I'm sure that the linemen in your area would do the same for you if ask.
