Beautiful Rings ya made there Gizmo, and Awesome work too...I know what you mean when a fun loving hobby turns into to a grueling job and all interest is lost....I did the same with woodworking... But I'm easing my way back into it...

Oh My Gosh Gizmo - those are beautiful. Would love to learn how to polish and set rocks. Your sweetie is a very lucky lady. I love every one of them. Nice going.

If any of us get lucky and find a nice gemstone would you still be interested in cutting it and making a ring or two?
I'm really sorry Boobie, but I no longer have the lapidary equipment to do that work anymore, not sure these "old" eyes could do the close up work either. I hate to turn down a request from a friend but right now I just can't. Catch you later, Richard

Thank each and every one of you for the compliments,a bit embarrassing. I wasn't expecting that. Just thought by sharing the pics everyone could get a look at one facet of me. (their are others) I'm just slow to open up, then you can't shut me up. (like trying to refold a roadmap). I would like to tell everyone here at TQ if I never find another coin it was worth everything my detectors cost and a lot more just to have met such a nice group of people. You all have a special place in my heart. Good luck to you all and have a wonderful day. Richard
