I saw an interesting show on cable tonight.

A man in Kansas using a MD that you pull behind a 4 wheeler found a meteorite worth 1 million in 2005. They followed him to Kansas where during the show he dug up two more both totaled $360,000.

Not bad deal for a few hours of work.

Hi Gold digger, I just finished watching the same show. Where do I sign up? It was very interesting, I was just searching to see if there are any meteorites to look for in Michigan. It looks like the most likely spot is in Lake Huron.

I saw one of these for sale on [well can't mention the name here, it ends up with ******]

Anyway it costs around $2k. It was not bad. They also had one where you could carry it over your shoulder and walk inside of the square. Not a very good deal if you have to cover a lot of ground.

I think that Fla md outfit helped build that detector.That strewn field has been there for eons.That guy has now bought 100 acres of it.Here is a website that you can get to meteorite areas from.

I saw it too, not last night but a few weeks ago. Wishing I was there to help with the find. How exciting, Oregon is one place where can't find them, too many mountains. I guess, the flat lands are so much better. They land hard and stay in the ground. What a find, great for the guy
