DSCN1827.JPG DSCN1829.JPG Image (2).jpg On Sunday, Sue and I hunted a soccer field located in a small park. Clad finds were decent, 51 coins worth $8.67 combined, but about an hour into the hunt I pull a gold chain and necklace from the ground and I'm thinking "I'M RICH !!!!!!!! I start doing the happy dance and I'm wondering is it 10k, 14k, or maybe even 18k? I put on my specs so I can read the fine print only to see that it's 14k GOLD FILLED:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:. Stop the music, the happy dance is over:(.

In that moment,, in the back of your brain, you felt the joy of the Gold Wizard. Only to be yanked back into the world of reality. What a cruel creature that Wizard can be.
Congrats to you and Sue on getting out.

Not to fret Sojo. Yhall' still did good. In that one moment in time you and Sue could have been dancing like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Congrat's on all the finds and on getting out for a hunt,......and if but for a moment, the Happy Dance. Next time it will be for real.

Yes, it does and according to my research, at current prices it's worth about 35 cents per gram. This item weighed 6.1 grams but only the crucifix is gold filled. The chain is total junk.
