Image (2).jpg On Sunday I attended a coin show and made a few purchases to add to my coin collection and my bullion holdings. I bought a pair of Commemorative half dollars, the 1892 Columbian half dollar and the 1920 Pilgrim half dollar. Also... an 1860 Indian head cent, a 1/10th ounce pure gold Canadian Maple Leaf coin, and a roll of 90% silver US quarters.

Looking at the ole 1860 Indian just makes me think of it’s travels through history. That very coin could have been in the pocket of one of our CW soldiers or in Lincoln’s pocket, just love history

Believe me when I say that I had those same thoughts regarding the Indian Cent. I also wonder about who the person was that bought the Columbian half at the World's Fair and where it traveled from there. Thanks for the comment:)
