With NO regrets, either, I might add. As many of y'all know, I've been having some health issues recently, but in actuality, I've had some all my life. I have had recent tests after tests, after tests, and at 55, I am diagnosed with congenital issues that I was born with. I reckon that isn't too bad. If it had been worse, I would have learned yeas ago.....:) Looking forward to exiting that horrible workplace for good........

Well Fool,, some people think that once they retire, they will have nothing to do. They can just sit around and grow old.
Well I have never been busier. Although I have had a few moments of relaxation and got to do a couple of nice things
since retiring,, I have been very busy. So I wish you well and good health.
Stay as busy as possible and enjoy your time away from the workforce.

Thanks!! Today is the first day for me not "making water" although I did do that this morning in another sense...:):) I have been busy cleaning up my boat to sell. Just put it on the internet a few minutes ago. Need to free-up some space in the shed! Feeling really good today!

I agree with you Kevin about retirement. I'm almost as busy now as when I worked full time. There's always something to do including a part time job. If I sat around all day doing nothing, I'd probably go nuts ! The big difference is that now I can stay busy doing what I want to do rather than having to go to work and put up with OTHER'S expectations.

Sounds great! I can kill a coon or a possum for you, as we have plenty here on the place. I need to go digging. A little WD-40 on my joints, and I may be good to go for a few hours.

I also retired two months ago and am enjoying it. I like ATW have never been busier and I was warned about it but if you think about it, it works out that way just because you have more time to be busy. You can do things at your own pace and now you are your own boss so take it easy on yourself. Well you have that other indoor boss to contend with but I will let you work that out. :p:D

Good post Dig's. I agree with you 100%. My indoor boss told me more than a few times that if I didn't straighten up, she was going to look at transferring me.........I still don't know exactly just what the boss meant. But I know that Rick will settle in to his new kind of busy and will do just find. We all here wish him nothing but the Best.(y)
