Hi Darren, my plans are to get started hunting this year as soon as it warms up a bit.
Although it will be mostly beaches within around a 20 mile radius
since I don't have a car any longer.
But we are really looking forward to it.
Some beaches are better than no beaches. 7_16_21.gif 7_16_21.gif 7_16_21.gif 7_16_21.gif

how true, good for practicing your skills, i am working on a new revised stainless steel sand scoop to pass some time. Pictures coming when its done. Currently i have a drawing finished now just need to get it cut out and welded , will be doing mostly everything myself . I have looked at all the available ones on ebay ,pretty much copies, my version will be different with some added benefits that are not available with any of the scoops i have seen on ebay ;)

Since this is the Garrett AT Pro section I am assuming your question is asking about finding gold with the AT Pro.
I found a gold locket a couple years ago at a local park, down about three inches. It had a picture of a man and a woman in it I have never found out who they were. It was dry dirt and the locket didn't have a chain attached and was about 1/2 inch in diameter.
