Just ordered the Pro-Pointer

Gee, I suggested this and everyone thought I was crazy

congrats on
seeing another one of the GPP's possibilities

If it is a stupid idea
I
know I'm not alone now
I didn't see your original post, I discovered this myself and I use it ALL the time when I know I'm dealing with a shallow target. Since we are in a drought here in NC, there is no sense in doing more damage to the grass than necessary. It works really well!!!

Yep
that's the first thing I do
sometimes the target is just under the grass
and
no hole is needed

I bought the Vibra Probe and really havent had a chance to use it yet. btw my name is Bob and i just registered  not sure what all this pirate stuff is about yet but i like it.

anyhow here is what you get when you buy the other one;

<---- video's

Still getting used to managing the probe and my machine, making sure the probe is off before picking the MD back up after a dig is the only problem. I will most likely buy a Garrett soon so i can see what you guys are talking about :pcool:

I just ordered one of these finally. Mainly got it to use when detecting with the F2 my wife has. My MXT has the Sunray inline probe. I let my wife use the MXT over the weekend and I can see why she gets frustrated at times about not being able to find the target. I was looking around on Kellyco's sight and realized they take Paypal. I had the money sitting there so I pulled the trigger. I will let you guys know my thoughts on it once it arrives.
i think the garrrett pinpointer is the best i have ever used, your gonna love it

The Garrett Pro Pointer is a great investment. Once purchased and used, you will see that it was money well spent and you'll find yourself wondering how you did without one for so long.

Bought a Pro Pointer in May ,, 2012. It's a great tool and has saved me unecessary digging and loads of time. Just re-ordered another one because the on/off button is jammed on the one I'm using. Kellyco rep told me that Garrett will replace it when I ship it to them. I can hunt without it but I prefer having it with me on any hunt I go on,, except of course my water hunts.
