LoboST finds tiny stuff that is deep!

Here is a few of my recent finds found at depths beyond 5 inches at a local Tot-Lot
with Tesoro LOBO SuperTRAQ (LST).

Each of these targets were loud and proud.

If you get a LOBO, get a good Pinpointer, you will need it!

Update: I just tried some of those same items on my DFX in Relic mode...
Why is it that the DFX is soooooo quiet on these? The signals are there
but not as pronounced as with the Lobo.

I guess it will require further research, gonna have to be fair about it and buy another White's machine maybe another Tesoro as well... lol

Sounds good don't it?

That problem is easily solved, get yourself a unity gain amplifier. I use a depthmaster (OMG) but kellyco has a very inexpensive UGA if ya wanna cheap out !!! Forget the weak signals from the thresh hold, they will be no more ! You will have much loss of depth perception though because the weak signals will be substantially amplified.

So are you telling me the $400 units don't need an extra amplifier that the $1100 dollars units do?

I don't get it? :banghead:
Good question. I don't know Tesoro detectors.
1. What is the threshhold setting on the DFX?
2. What volume level?
3. Do you have modulation on?

Modulation emulates the deep targets by attenuating the signal volume lower to let you know it is a deep target.
You can turn this off and all targets will return equal volume signals.

Did you air test or ground test these items?

Yeah, even with Modulation off it sounds the same as when on.

I just use the fixed settings in the DFX and settle for up to 8 inches.

Our ground here in the PNW ain't very cooperative either, probably most of the problem right there?

Tis possible. What does your ground measure?
